Do you have an office in Westmoreland County?
No. Rappahannock Foot & Ankle Specialists does not have an office in Westmoreland County. Patients traveling from the county are seen at our Fredericksburg office, 195 Falcon Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. The practice has two offices, Fredericksburg and North Stafford, and no others.
What are the office hours?
Our Fredericksburg office, where Westmoreland County patients are seen, is open Monday 8:00 to 5:30, Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 to 5:00, and Friday 8:00 to 2:30. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Most plans let you book directly with a podiatrist. Some HMO and Medicare Advantage plans do ask for a referral from your primary care doctor first. If you are not sure, call the office and our staff will check for you before your visit.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We are in network with Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Anthem BC/BS Federal, Anthem HealthKeepers, CareFirst, Cigna, Humana, Humana Military (TRICARE), MedCost, Medicare, MultiPlan/PHCS, Sentara PPO (Non-Medicaid), UnitedHealthcare, and VA Community Care. Several of these also cover Medicare Advantage plans. We are not currently accepting new Medicaid patients, or Medicaid patients who have not been seen within the current year.
Where are surgeries performed?
Procedures that can be done in the office, such as ingrown toenail correction, happen at our Fredericksburg office on Falcon Drive. Surgical cases that need an operating room are performed at Stafford Hospital.
