Who We Are
A Practice That Has Been Here Since 1986
Rappahannock Foot & Ankle Specialists is a physician-owned podiatric practice with offices in Fredericksburg and North Stafford, Virginia. Our provider roster includes six podiatric surgeons, an emeritus surgeon, and an in-house physical therapy team, and together we handle the full range of foot and ankle care for this region — from routine nail and skin care through diabetic limb preservation, sports injuries, and reconstructive surgery.
We are not a hospital department and not a private-equity roll-up. Decisions about how patients are cared for get made by the people who see those patients. That shows up in the day-to-day: a team that knows each other, and a practice that has been part of this community for close to four decades.

What This Job Actually Looks Like
Everything under one roof
Digital X-ray, in-house physical therapy, custom 3D-scanned orthotics, and shockwave therapy are all on site. You get to see cases through instead of handing patients off and wondering what happened.
A full scope of care
Clinic work spans routine care, wound and diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and surgical cases. Our surgeons operate at Stafford Hospital Center, with Mary Washington Hospital and Surgi-Center of Central Virginia also among our affiliated facilities.
Weekday patient hours
Both offices see patients Monday through Friday. There are no weekend clinic hours, and both locations sit minutes off I-95 in Fredericksburg and North Stafford.

An integrated therapy team
Our physical therapy team works alongside the surgeons in the same building, which means recovery plans get built in conversation rather than mailed between offices.
Two locations, one practice
Fredericksburg and North Stafford run as one practice with a shared team and shared records, serving patients from Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline County, Culpeper, Louisa, and Westmoreland County.
