A few things patients ask before a first visit. If yours isn’t here, call either office and our staff will help.

Most plans let you book directly with a podiatrist. Some HMO and Medicare Advantage plans do ask for a referral from your primary care doctor first. If you are not sure, call either office and our staff will check for you before your visit.

Your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of the medications you take. If you have had X-rays, an MRI, or notes from another provider about the problem, please bring those as well. It also helps to bring the shoes you wear most often, since the wear pattern frequently tells us something useful.

We are in network with Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Anthem BC/BS Federal, Anthem HealthKeepers, CareFirst, Cigna, Humana, Humana Military (TRICARE), MedCost, Medicare, MultiPlan/PHCS, Sentara PPO (Non-Medicaid), UnitedHealthcare, and VA Community Care. Several of these also cover Medicare Advantage plans. We are not currently accepting new Medicaid patients, or Medicaid patients who have not been seen within the current year. Our staff will verify your benefits before anything is scheduled.

Yes. We care for patients at every age, from children through to older adults. Growing feet come with their own set of questions, and we are glad to take a look if something seems off.
